The other day after washing and looking in the manual to change a setting I noticed the trunk wouldn't open. The FOB, dash and rear physical button failed to open the trunk. After looking at my calendar to make a dealer appt, I decided first to continue looking for the cause. I hadn't noticed that when I removed the manual from the glove box, I accidentially depressed a small button that placed the car into "valet mode" resulting in an unlockable trunk. Pressing the spring loaded button again reinstated the trunk open function to all the buttons. Case closed.

 

That's where I would have looked!

. Two beeps and it unlocks but does not rise. Is there a button somewhere like the RX models? Valet mode is off in the settings.
