Out on photo shoot last night and this 488GTB Spider comes rolling along behind us. I ask the photographer to get the driver of the Ferrari to join us on the shoot. The driver agreed and we chatted while the photographer took a few of these spectacular shots. To our surprise the owner of the 488GTB happens to be shooting guard Devon Booker of The Phoenix Suns NBA team.
I would've shot a separate exposure for the blown out DRL blobs and corrected for the magenta foreground color cast and background yellow/green cast. (especially since he went through the trouble of compositing the stars in) But very cool experience nonetheless!

shoulda, coulda, woulda... the gates to the beach could have been locked at any minute by security, while the photographer was rushing to light paint both vehicles after trying to stage the best shot for both cars as well. Sure the photo could have this and that done to it but the beauty of this photo was that it was so randomly done on the fly with two beautiful cars never really seen side by side. Let alone with a natural backdrop like the Tempe night line with the cool neon lights by the lake and bridges. I don't think AJ the photographer has any regrets on this photo considering he was able to capture a rare LC500 and a Ferrari 488GTB Spider none the less driven by Devon Booker of the Phoenix Suns while Devon simply hung out with us so nonchalantly. That's a once in a lifetime type shot and no one is thinking about every single little aspect in the camera settings when they're rushed for the shot.
