Is anyone else experiencing excessive brake dust? I only have 350 miles on the car, is this something I should keep an eye on?
Is it typical because the car is new? I did not have this experience when my Porsche was new, however over time I had to clean my wheels quite often but the brake dust didn't seem to be this heavy.
Second question, when I ease off the brake pedal the car lurches forward a tad bit. This did not happen on the demo car I drove, should I take it to the dealership for an adjustment?
Please share your thoughts.

there's plenty of posts on this topic.... not sure why you felt the need to create a new thread on this.

Lynneizle, you don’t have to delete your post. While using the search before posting is the preferred process. You did nothing wrong but asking a simple question that you wanted info on. Others need to have some patience or should cut folks some slack before roasting them on a public forum.Originally Posted by Lynneizle

Yes, my LC has significant brake dust, even with light/easy driving. The RCF has the same issue and quite frankly so does my other cars with performance Brembo brakes. So, while I would not say that it is normal it certainly common and a pain in the butt.

FWIW, since this thread seems to be growing... I removed my wheels last week, thoroughly cleaned them, and ceramic-coated the rim face, inner barrels, and calipers. While this obviously won't reduce the amount of brake dust produced, it does seem to reduce the amount that sticks to the rims, and certainly makes them easier to clean. I can get away with blowing the dust away with an air compressor for a while before I need to actually wash them. I went with this kit (I've been happy with Adam's products):

how long are these coatings suppose to last? Seems like a pain to apply, but if it lasts a long time I would consider it.
