I have had my car for over 2 months now. It always sits in the garage, last night when I was checking that the garage doors were closed before ending the evening I noticed a raw gas odor in the garage. I opened the outside doors and let it air out for a few minutes. When I got up this morning The whole downstairs had a strong raw gas odor and the garage was overwhelming. I am wanting to know if anyone else has experienced this with their LC. I do not have any other cars on the garage at this time that have any gas in them and I do not keep any gas cans in the garage. I have had the car in the garage every night since purchased and this is the only time I have had the raw gas smell. It was strong enough that my eyes were watering. I called the dealer and they have no idea. They stated that they would contact corporate.

No, I've had mine since the middle of May and have never smelled raw gasoline.
I'm not sure if @pb4ugo is still active in the forum since last post was 7 years ago...but this is happening to me.
Seems to happen more after longer or harder drives, but it is making my garage stink like gasoline after parking in the garage. Just started happening in the last week, prior to that it never smelled in the garage. Thankfully the cabin doesn't smell like gasoline so far as I can tell, just in the garage after a drive. I haven't topped off the tank after filling but I wonder if it's a problem with the vapor canister? Vehicle is not throwing a CEL so I've no idea what's going on.
I guess I'll drive it some more and see if it stops happening after a few weeks, otherwise will have to bring it up during next service.
I had this on the first day of my roadtrip last month & it ended up just being the gas cap wasn't tightened properly. Smell was very strong in the cabin while driving.

I just reseated the gas cap so we'll see if that helps. The smell is definitely coming from the fuel filler area, it smells very strongly of fuel right around the fuel door even with the door closed and cap on.
I haven't smelled it in the cabin at all; if I did I would driven it straight to the dealer lol.
Well I just took a spirited drive to grab dinner and the smell is worse than ever. It's in the cabin now as well. Definitely coming from fuel filler area.
I don’t know about the LC, but most cars have a mechanism to open an airway to the tank when you’re pumping fuel, as you need to let air escape while fueling. (Think about if you try to drink soda with your mouth completely surrounding the opening, rather than just on half. The soda flows slower.) Some part of that could be broken. Some cars also have an opening that seals off when the car flips over, for safety, which also could be an issue. It could always be a gas leak. Definitely sounds like a dealer trip is in order.

Yeah I have a feeling the vapor/evap/charcoal canister got some fuel in it and is soaked, or the purge valve is stuck and won't properly vent the fumes back to the engine and thus is releasing them to the atmosphere. beyond that I don't know what it could be. At the dealership now while they check it out, and of course, this morning's drive to the dealership did not result in any smell. Watch them come back and say "we could not recreate the issue and there are no codes, have a great day sir"
edit: as expected, they could not reproduce the issue and offered to keep the car to try again. I declined and just told them next time it happens and you are open I'll just drive it over. So now we wait.

To your point, sounds like an overflow got soaked, and was then evaporated by the time you went in. Hopefully that was just a fluke. At least you’re not leaklng gas. That wouldn’t remedy itself.

Now here I am at home, parked in the garage, and its creeping into the kitchen 30 minutes after parking . Wonderful.
It's happening right now severely so I stopped in at the dealership (different than earlier) to have them document it. The initial suggestion is to leave it parked outside a few days to see if it'll "go away" as the service Mgr said he's had that happen with a couple other models.
I'll keep it parked outside until Tuesday without driving it and then give it some drives and see what happens, then I have an appt on Thursday.
Keep a fire extinguisher with you in the car until you determine what it is.
