I'm surprised no vendors make tips that are ready-made to fit the LC? Seems rough to have to cut off part of the pipe for fitment.

Did adding these tips change your exhaust note or anything?

It's definitely a much better look than the 'fake' exhaust openings. Don't understand why so many makers do this. Maybe it's so that they don't have to properly align the exhaust to not look crooked at the exit/opening?

This looks excellent - it looks factory. Echoing the question - is the modification needed to ensure the tips are flush?

Looks good, 👍🏾.
I went a tad bit more raw with my mod, just using some stock piping.

Nice work and thanks for sharing! Is it just an optical illusion or does the inside tip (passenger side) look like it's angled towards the outside/passenger side of the car?

I may try this mod out!

Couldn’t find your original post on this. I know had great instructions. If you get a chance could you send that link?

Thanks

I personally don't like seeing the tips. I prefer the sleek look of the OEM surrounds.

I can't agree more. I respect the need to make the LC your own. Sticking four round pipe out the back of a piece of art seems counterintuitive. It is like you need to prove something. You might be missing the point. I have owned other cars and trucks in which this is more fitting.
LC 500 in my opinion not one of them.
I fully support you making your LC yours.
If it looks good to you that is the most important part!

Just always looked weird to me that the exhaust pipes are there, but not there...but yeah, we all see it differently and can do whatever we like with our own property. Respect to all...

Thank you everyone. Here is the link to ebay, I believe these are on Amazon as well but for a tad more money. I did have to cut off a little for the inside tips and I took out the tabs for the fitment. I shaved down the bolts only so they don't stick out as much, not necessary and I just used the bolts to tighten. It requires a little back and forth on each side to get them tight and straight. The angle on the picture is a little off but I fixed it. This doesn't change the sound at all. 3" tips I don't will fit inside but if you wanted them to stay recessed they should work. I'd like ovals and I saw someone had them on here but I can't find a link.
