Besides the glove box anyone come up with a location to store your gun?

 

When I got my LC, I tossed a revolver in the console and realized it wasn’t ideal. I went out and bought a Springfield Armory Hellcat with a laser sight just for the LC, planning to figure out a better way to stash it. I tried different holsters and magnets, messing around with the shallow felt lined glove compartment and even looking at options for the back of the passenger seat or the back of the console. That was two years ago, and the revolver is still sitting in the console lol.

 

There was that one guy who found that the trunk was a perfect fit for the pelican case for his Sako rifle, but I suspect that's not what you mean... There isn't a ton of storage in the cabin - just the glove box and center console. I suspect most of us tend to rely on our right foot to get us out of trouble, in these cars!

 

I wonder what is behind that flat dash pad above the glove box? May be you could build a velcro cover for that area that would disapear and seem like part of the dash.

I assume there’s an airbag under there, no?

if you’re going to start modifying the car (I wouldn’t, but each to their own), and if you have the carbon roof, I suppose you could mount some kind of pouch on the ceiling?

 

I was thinking about a Sherpa system that mounts to the back of the passenger seat.
