Default Shift Lever Light

Have tried to decipher indicator lights pictured as item "D" on page 302 of my 2025 coupe and their function without success. There are three horizontally in the overhead console. Not going to dealer for a while and curious.

As labeled, the C & D lights just shine down on the seats and shifter area.

Good grief! I guess I have been missing the protocol of when each is lit as it seems to vary.

I agree ratchettt never noticed, but no thought has come up asking, why isn't this lit.

I have to laugh at myself. As the instructions are under "interior lights" and my dyslectic brain read "indicator lights" I have been constantly trying to decipher what the hell they indicated when I shift gears and nothing changed, and not what they illuminated.

Final comment. The mystery of their coming and going illumination remains. Guessing has to do with ambient light sensing. Just chalking it off to the silent-butler Lexus designers have provided to pamper.
