Noticed this today in the app for 24+ owners to be aware.

I guess that would throw off the 360° view too.

I've definitely noticed it on mine, sometimes the video is choppy when reversing. Hopefully this addresses it whenever the remedy is announced.

Applies to our RX and LX as well, assuming it doesn’t effect the sensors indication.

That's odd. I got the same notice for my 2018 Shelby GT350R, also with no solution yet available. Must be some component in common. This says Lexus will update the ECU. The Ford notice is almost identical, but the resolution is not specific. I can't imagine the cars use the same ECU. Maybe the camera firmware is from a common vendor?

Nice.
The backup camera might freeze but the sensors are still working right?
Have not noticed on mine but I drive the LC once in a blue moon.

I got notice today that the rearview camera fix for my GT350R is now available. Maybe the LC500 is not far behind.

It has been available.
A couple months back, I got a letter to bring mine in. But of course, it’s winter here and my LC is on a trickle charger until April.

it’s a minor issue and honestly, I haven’t noticed any freezing on the camera. Then again, I haven’t driven my LC enough to know.

Took my’24 coupe into my dealer this past week for the rear camera update recall. As noted, just a software update. They had the car for a few hours and done! I don’t notice any difference in camera operation or views, but never had any prior issues either. 4.5k miles on my car.

Why can't this be done with an over the air update? I thought the LC had this capability?

I assume that capability is limited to head unit software and navigation stuff rather than individual ecu type of updates
