Default Camera Recall

I’m about to de-winterize my ‘24 LC and take it in for an oil change and while it’s there, do this recall. This is the 3rd oil&filter change and the car has less than 5k miles.
, Took my ‘24 coupe in over a month ago. A few hours at the dealer for the recall and done. (Software update) No problems or issues. Never had any prior camera issues and now it just seems to work fine. Just as before.

I had it done on my NX450h+. There was one glitch the day after where screen went black. Have not had it happen since. Took it to the dealer, they couldn’t replicate it, they did find codes where it said Cameras could not initialize. They reported it to corporate. Corporate said to monitor and if it happens again bring it back to the dealer. I had not had issues prior to the fix either.

Had the RX and LX accomplished, about 2.5hrs each. No issues with the RX, on LX they had to reprogram the Seats/Massage since they were inoperable after the update. Neither had any noticeable camera issues.

Also looking forward to De-Winterization shortly!!!

Just completed the 25LA-06 Rear View Camera, may go blank and the 25LA-05 Combination Meter May Go Blank recall computer update recalls. About 3 1/2 hours combined wait time at dealership... I was offered a "free loaner". Seems harmless other than the down time? I received a recall notice in the mail last week for the Combination Meter recall, and upon arrival was notified about the rear view mirror camera recall too.... opted for do both. Both were on the 2024 LS500 AWD Base vehicle.

wth they do for 3.5hrs with a supposedly software update?
I planning on getting this done but not sure if I want to wait 3.5hrs or take a loaner home and having to drive back and forth.

I’m feeling the same way. Considering I’ve not encountered the issue, doesn’t seem worth bringing it in for.

If there's no time limit on recalls, you've nothing to loose. Other than any angst wondering if the ball might drop, if you're wired than way.

25LA-05 is related to instrument cluster display issue in LS.. For LC's reverse camera software update it is 1.5 hour tops. I was in and out under that.

So my app at one point was telling me there was a recall on my car, but no fix yet available. Now it shows no recall. Maybe it updated over the air?

Over the air would be awesome but mine still says it on the app. And the remedy says to update the panoramic’s parking ECU.
I don’t think any kind of ECU update can be done over the air as the ECU needs to be physically connected.

Thanks for the clarification. Yeah the LC panoramic view monitor update is 25LA-06.
1.5hr is much more manageable. My dealer just called to bring my LC500 for a 10k miles “complimentary” service. I thought you only get one free oil change which happens at 5k.
So far, I’ve done mine at 900miles, 2.5k miles, and now the car has 5k on the odo which I’m planning to bring in.

my dealer wanted $562 for 10K service..I changed the oil + filter myself for $50 and didnt waste 1/2 day at service area. My camera works fine so Im not going to "fix" it.

Hmmm, interesting - in that case I guess they may have changed the scope of the cars covered, and taken mine (which was built in Feb/Mar 2025) off the list?

He meant the 10k miles service which includes more things than oil/filter change.
But yeah, the only things I see in the 10k that’s more than oil/filter change is cabin filter and remote key battery. lol
At any rate, I’ll ask. Not sure why he said complimentary 10k as the service manual specifically state 1k(which is just inspection) and 5k(first oils change) are complimentary.
