2024 LC - Car drives great, only issue has been, it will request the “pin” at random times while driving. Sometimes it takes the “pin” when entered without any comment, other times the screen will show “no internet connection” after the pin has been entered. Each time it has happened the registered device has been in the car. This does not happen every drive, nor every day but it has happened about 30 times in 6 month of ownership. It’s been back to the dealer 4 times for for a duration of about a month for this issue with no resolution or worse no explanation. Dealer has deleted & reinstall profiles & apparently software with no joy! Since dealer does not drive it, they cannot duplicate the issue but we have provided both video & picture documentation of the issue. The dealer is no denying the events but cannot explain them or stop them from happening by repair. According to the dealer tech people, you should only have to put in the pin once, when u register the Bluetooth device.
So I’m wondering if any other LC owners have experienced this problem. We have not experienced this with the Lexus loaner cars with modern infotainment that we have been provided. And as u can extrapolate from my thread, we’ve driven them for long duration.

 

It ding me to put in the PIN when I brought the car out from winter hibernation(battery was always fully charged with trickle charger) back in late March. I entered the PIN(had to take a wild guess) and it never ding me again on it. I never thought of it further but let me see if I can find out what it was doing and why yours is always asking you to do it.
