[QUOTE=xwndycty;11937994]Yes! And unlike the Corvette, it's a whole lot easier to fit my hockey equipment bag and sticks in the LC

Ha! Another hockey dude here. I assume the only way is front seat down and top down would be helpful.

@jwaljer678 Always glad to meet another hockey guy! At nearly 66 yrs. old, I still play 2x a week (not in the league with all the 30-somethings anymore but in a 50+ invite-only pickup). You're correct, in the Corvette the (stinky) equipment was always relegated to the passenger seat but in the LC (as well as my NSX), my bag fits very nicely in the rear compartment. LMK if you're ever in the Raleigh area, you can always lace 'em up with us 'old timers'. Cheers! Greg Originally Posted by xwndycty

Likewise, twice weekly in Sarasota. We have 2 skates weekly for 50+,60+ and 70+ and I am eligible for all. During the summer I go back home to St. Louis and play in an over 55 group.Originally Posted by jwaljer678

I have friends that have 4+ different foreign exotics garaged ( German, Italian, British, etc. etc. ). I am not in their league. Every one of these friends has a late model Corvette, also. Not a single one has an LC, nor did the most knowledgeable of the group know what it was when I tried to get his opinion before my purchase. Just a statement; not a judgement; please again not a judgement. Mine is a joy, but perhaps you should reconsider?

Anyone have both? Pros and cons to the LC vs the Z? Any regrets if you went from one to the other?
I recommend a test drive with a nearby dealer or rent one for a day or two. I suspect that you’ll be impressed but that is just my hunch.Originally Posted by bfoster50620
Hey all, considering trading my 2018 Z06/Z07 car for an LC Convertible. I know they are quite different cars, but I feel like I'd drive the LC more often than I do this Z. Granted, it only has 1400mi. Plus, I already have a '24 Z06 in the garage for the other toy.Anyone have both? Pros and cons to the LC vs the Z? Any regrets if you went from one to the other?

How awesome is that! I'm a Midwest guy, too. I was born and raised in the Chicago area (Naperville) and played hockey there from 1963 to 1979. Consider this an open invitation to join us on the ice here in Raleigh Originally Posted by xwndycty

Indeed. Stepping up into an SUV and sliding back out to ground is junk. But bending over to put on a great GT and taking it off by a duck and thighs is healthy exercise. Then there is all the fun in-between.Originally Posted by drhgrey

Since you have a 24 Z06 it makes sense kind of. I had a similar swap but different order. 18 Z06 for a 24 Z06 SWG and traded my X5MC for the LC500 Convertible. If you only had the 18 I wouldn't do it its too much of a perf down grade. Its a good touring car not too fast not too slow but no Z06. Fit finish better than the 18. I flip between the Z06 and LC on a regular basis depending on mood and trip.
