Default Dealer Car Wash

I'm taking my convertible for service tomorrow at the dealership. Do fellow vert owners let them run it through their carwash?

Unless you like those micro scratches in the paint hand wash only.

You will eventually get micro scratches with hand washing, but the time delta will be longer.

Okay, okay, I get it. Feels a bit odd to wash it to take to get an oil change but...message received!

I don't even trust the touchless washes due to the possibility of the wheels getting scratched in the tracks.

Nope. Only once (my first service) did I unwittingly make the mistake of allowing the Lexus Dealer to 'hand wash' my convertible - never again! The windows looked like they were cleaned with dirty diapers.

Dealer installed swirl option? That's a pass.

I do let them wash it, it is white coupe, I don't see swirl marks or diaper rash.
