Default My LC build

Here is my build and some of the journey I've taken the car thru. I haven't posted every iteration of it, there are quite a few things that have come and gone over the months lol. Overall I am very satisfied with how this car looks, performs, and feels every single day.

OE: 2024 LC500 Bespoke Coupe finished in Ultrasonic Blue Mica 2.0 with Black interior, optioned w/ Mark Levinson, Sport seats, Alcantara headliner, HUD, Carbon fiber roof, Carbon fiber door sills, split 5-sooke matte black wheels, black chrome trim, and active rear wing:

Mod list:
  • Cosmetic/Appearance
    • Full PPF with Llumar Platinum Gloss (Hexis BodyFence X on carbon hood)
    • Llumar IRX ceramic tints - 15% windows and rear, 50% windshield
    • E6 Carbon fiber body kit (lip, side skirts)
    • Carbonado Aero Varis style carbon fiber front lip
    • Vossen HFX-1 satin black wheels 21x9.5/21x11.5 wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S 265/35 and 315/30
    • Orange calipers painted with G2 caliper kit, also wrapped with reflective caliper wrap
    • Seibon BT-Style Vented carbon fiber hood w/ 3M Gloss Cosmic Blue accents
    • Carbon Addict dry carbon fiber lower grille trim
    • Carbon fiber side mirror trim (chrome delete)
    • TRD style winged carbon fiber mirror caps
    • Chrome delete rear diffuser trim pieces
    • Smoked sidemarkers + turn signals

Ah I didn't list it because it will probably come off in the next few months. It used to have a lot more orange all over lol but I've been slowly moving away from it, eventually will just leave the calipers as the only orange on it.

Great looking ride! Thanks for the garage exit pic, really shows how atrocious the stock amber side markers look. I have had a set of smoked for about 6 months.............going on today!! THANKS

That's an option but then you're still left with the weak bulb pattern (which is likely functionally to allow the sidemarker to act as a reflector as well). So with tint you get the dark appearance when not illuminated but you don't get the better illumination and lighting pattern of the full LED replacement unit.

Weak bulb pattern? Is there an example anywhere online of the difference between the 2?
