Default Replacing OEM Brakes Under Service Bulletin

My 2021 LC’s OEM brakes squeal from time to time – but not 100% of the time. I have an appointment with my local dealership on Monday, at which time they will determine if my car qualifies for the replacement of the OEM brakes via L-SB-0013-20 Rev2. I am aware that the brakes that would be placed on my car are not high-performance brakes. Additionally, it is my understanding that there is a huge difference in brake dust accumulation on the wheels. I have two questions regarding this brake replacement service.

1. Has anyone had this denied by the dealership because they were unable to reproduce the squeal?

2. For those who have had this service performed, have you regretted having this done due to a noticeable drop in brake performance (or for any other reason)?

I had my brake pads replaced a few months ago. Lexus had noted that the previous owner had complained about squealing, so they didn't hesitate to change them. I didn't replace the pads because of the squealing, but because the dust was driving me crazy and ruining my enjoyment of driving the car.

The new pads have less bite, which actually makes driving a bit smoother. I have no complaints about the stopping performance, although I did have some concerns when I took the car up into the mountains and pushed it pretty hard. At some point, I'd like to switch back to high-performance pads, and I'm planning on going with Project Mu when I'm ready.

Mine squeaked coming to a stop - dealer replaced all 8 pads no problem.
I can’t tell any difference in bite - I don’t drive it that hard - but the lack of dust is a massive improvement. It’s almost zero dust.

I had mine done, but I have a great relationship with my service advisor. I produced the bulletin and they just did it.

I have not noticed any difference in driving but I don't drive it hard enough to really tell. I do love that the wheels don't accumulate brake dust anymore.

Did all y'all's Stealers bed your new pads in or did you have to do them?
I've had to bed in motorcycle pads several times. I'm not terribly fond of that but it is kind of one of those necessary safety emergency practice maneuvers.
