I realize that everyone's driving habits and where we drive is different. What do you think the average life span in milies is for OEM brakes on the LS?

 

i reached with my brakes till 67k km = about 42k miles. and the guy in dealer work shop said its the highest milage to get with the OEM. he said most of them dont reach even 25k miles.

I was thinking about this the other day.

I wonder if the hybrid aspect of my LS600hL might improve the brake life since the car augments the brakes with the electric motors as generators while braking to recharge the battery. This should lessen the work necessary for the real brakes.

I have 26K and so far no problems with the brakes.
