I love the new infotainment system. It’s light years better than the previous trackpad/joystick infotainment system. So much so that I’m thinking to trade in the ‘17 RX for the new generation.
But god damnnn….
I bought a screen protector on eBay. We’ll see how it fits. Won’t solve the marks problem but if I have a screen protector on a $1000 phone, why not on a 100k+ car screen. I wish there’s more screen protector options for this.

The RXL I turned in had the touchscreen, still didn't use it. For my seating position it was still too far forward and I wound up using the mouse pad anyway (was a 2021 and had both). I think the wife may have used it since it would have the fingerprints like that. I just kept a lens cloth in the car to clean it. On our 2018 RXL we just had the dealership install the Beat-Sonic wireless system. The wife's very happy with that.
Magic eraser?! JFC. It’s basically sandpaper. Don’t use windex either. Just use a microfiber cloth. If needed make it slightly damp.
So much bizarre alarm about glass touchscreens. I have a 120k miles on a Tesla Model Y. No screen protector, and I don’t have any scratches at all. It’s not like a phone where you’re throwing it around and stuffing it into pockets. When wiping it just be gentle, and be careful that there is no grit/sand between the microfiber towel and screen.
