Recently picked up a 2018 certified LC and when I checked inside the trunk (specially underneath the mat and side covers), I see that there are missing tools and equipment. There are just empty styrofoam indents.

My questions are:

1. what tools are suppose to be included?
2. will a Lexus dealer charge me if I wanted the tools?

I’m taking her in next week due to a brake issue (feels pressure and vibration at low speeds- maybe this is normal?) and will be asking about trunk accessories but figured I can with the members for advanced insight. Thanks in advance!

 

You don’t really need that toolset. You don’t have a spare tire. But if you really need it and you don’t have your own just ask them and insist saying “if there is a place - it should be a tool”
I asked for mine and they ordered it and gave it to me no question.
make sure that you have a tow hook, located in a right side of the trunk.
