Tools...???
Keyed / Locking wheel lugs are an option, not standard so there might not even be a key.
Tools would be no use on a run-flat car that doesn't have a spare. I keep a small flashlight, some thin gloves, spare radar detector batteries, a couple microfiber towels and a pump spray bottle of my quick detailing chemical in the little cubbies. I'm sure you might have some other little 'necessities' that you might wish to keep there and not clutter up the console or glove box.

I am still waiting for the regular lug nuts my dealer included in my purchase as I am generally afraid of these rusting and having to be cut off

If not, it's a rare bird indeed. As I say when I was shopping for my LC I only saw one (a stripper) without it.
I've never had any trouble with McGard wheel locks.
