Coming from an LS460 I'm surprised to see that the LC lacks some of the luxury type items you would expect to find in a higher end Lexus. Does the LC not have a feature where the driver seat automatically adjusts back when getting ready to exit or enter the car? I also noticed it does not have the automatic door close when the door does not close all the way. I know this is more of a sports car, just a bit surprising. Either way I'm still loving the car. I have a 2019 model.

I’m pretty sure it does have the first feature as when I turn off my car I can feel the seat move back an inch or so and the steering wheel retracts a bit. It doesn’t have the door or trunk close assist though.

Thanks. Steering wheel for sure. In my LS and even my wife's RX, when the car is turned off the seat goes all the way back to easily exit the car.
Well I was mistaken - I played around during lunch and unless I’m missing something obvious when I turn off the car only the seat moves back, the steering wheel appears to stay fixed.
As an experiment I set the memory position #3 to have the seat far forward and the steering wheel sticking way out. When I turned off the car the seat would slide way back but the steering wheel didn’t budge. When I restarted the car the seat would slide forward back into it’s #3 memory position but the steering wheel would stay put since it was already in memory position #3.
I suppose one way to address this would be to set memory position #3 for maximum ease of ingress and egress (seat set all the way back and maybe leaned up a bit with steering wheel all the way forward). Whenever you park the car, just press #3 and it will set you up for an easy exit and reentry. Then when you get back in just press #1 or #2 which you will have set for your max driving pleasure. One thing I didn’t realize before that I discovered today is the memory settings also include your HUD positioning.
You can definitely have the seat automatically move back when exiting the car and you can also make the steering wheel retract. It does on mine. There are actually 2 levels for the reverse seating. One moves it back half way and the other setting moves it all the way back. I don't recall where the settings are located but I've changed them a few times.

Thanks, this is what I'm trying to figure out lol. My steering wheel does retract, its the seat that is driving me nuts.
Saw this post in the RC forum. Maybe LC is the same thing.
I just learned that the RC coupes have limited easy exit seats. Because the tiny legroom for a passenger sitting behind, the seat will not retract all the way back at engine shut off as it would crush the legs of a rear passenger. The seat will only retract to the ‘half’ back positions automatically and you can test that. If you put your seat closer to the dash than half way an then press the engine stop button, the seat will retract to that half way point but not all the way back. It is a safety issue for rear passengers and it is unique to coupes. At least you will know that function works
As I recall, the MYs 2018 and 2019 do not have the automatic seat retract feature. That feature was added to MYs 2020 above. As I posted in one of the attached links, I use the Memory 3 setting for that task.
Steering wheel exit (item 20) although it's listed for the 2018. My 23 does the steering and seat exit. Although, upon receiving the car I had to reprogram the seats because they would not remember positions which required moving each seat to max movement in all positions. That was like a "seat position reset".
