After almost 40,000 miles on my HS250h, I have noticed something strange about the auto seat adjustment feature. Lately, the driver's seat, when I open the door, automatically adjusts itself "up" and back. Never used to do that. I have tried changing the Drivers seat easy exit settings, but cannot seem to find the magic combination.

 

You get 2 sets of keys and when you set (two different drivers) the way they want the car auto adjustments to be - could be your problem.

 

Not sure how it might have happened, but the auto seat feature has two settings - partial and full. The partial setting just moves the steering wheel up and forward when you open the door, while the full setting moves the seat back too.

As the other poster stated, maybe your other key fob has the other setting, and you mixed them up one day? Or maybe the dealer did it at your last service?
