Looking at buying LC trying to understand different packages
Hi All. Getting the itch to buy another car after selling my LS a couple years ago. I’ve been reading through a lot of the posts but I’m still a bit confused on the difference between the performance and sport packages. I definitely like the idea of an all carbon roof. Do those come default with any one of these packages? I did read that carbon will kill off any sunroof.
no sunroof if you have the cf roof.
cf roof is an option on the sport package, but included as part of the performance (aka dynamic handling) package.
DH package has these over the sport package: rear wheel steering, variable gear ratio front steering (VGRS), the yamaha damper between the rear wheels, motorized wing, cf door sills, cf roof, alcantara head liner
it's all on lexus' website (or post below!).

The Carbon Fiber roof is not standard on the Sport Package, but is on the Dynamic Handling Package. Now concerning the Carbon Fiber roof on the Sport Package, it was listed as an option by Lexus until MY.2021. In the later brochures, it is not listed as an option anymore. And the Build option on the Lexus web site, does not give the option of adding the Carbon Fiber roof to the Sport Package. And, just a note - The standard roof is not described by Lexus as a sun roof, since it does not open to let in air, but as a glass roof, with the option to open to view the sky.

Actually the Yamaha Rear performance damper and Torsen limited-slip rear differential are included in the Sports Package as listed above.
The Googler sent to my inbox an article on LCs breaking $60k. There was an ad for a '18, 57k miles, $57k. I haven't no ideas on the dealer screw $above that though.
