Hi Folks - as soon as I turn off the engine, the radio stops playing. Other vehicles I own/have owned keep the radio on until the driver's door is opened. Is this the way it is with the LC or can this be changed?

 

Will it turn back on if you repower it?

 

Yes - if I press the start button with my foot off of the brake pedal, it goes into accessory mode and the radio will play.

 

What I meant was, if you shut down, can you attempt to repower the radio itself (w/o using acc mode)?

 

I'll try. Is that how yours works?

 

Don’t have mine yet but some of our other vehicles work this way albeit limited to a short duration.

 

My LC turns off all music when I turn the car off. Not sure if there is an option to have it stay on like in some cars.

 

That's how every Lexus works that I know of. My GM vehicles work differently.

 

That is just a fact you must live with on the LC, and I believe it's the same for all Lexus vehicles.
