Retrofit 360 camera from MY24 ?
You gents think there’s a chance we will be able to retrofit MY24’s 360 degree camera on to our existing cars ?
I think you would probably need to replace the front grill and mirrors (as that’s where the cameras go). Also will likely need a software update to make it compatible with the UI, but I think it the rest is do-able.
This is one feature that’s sorely missing on our 100k+ cars.

Go to the University of YouTube and search for front camera LC 500.
See if you are interested in subjecting your $100k LC to that degree of disassembly. Then how to go about
finding the person skilled enough to do it. See if they look like someone you want to trust your warranty with.
I might be willing to get a front and rear dashcam installed but even that goes with the possibility of killing my extended warranty.
I don't need Any camera scenerio That Bad.

However, if a front camera by itself would suffice, there is another way. After copying what another LC owner has done, I installed a front camera (DIY) for $200. Works great to prevent scraping the front of the car against the curb and other obstacles. I'd love to have the 360 overhead view, but this is a strong 2nd place substitute.

Yes we do. It's on the Polish LC500 MY 24 catalog that was posted in a different thread. 12.3 inch Touchscreen with 360 degree camera.
Sure but we don't necessarily know that it will be offered on N/A market cars? I mean I agree that it's a fair assumption, but the jury's still out as far as I'm concerned until Lexus USA/Canada announces what they're doing.
I actually have ordered the car and I was told it would be built in June, and was told there will be the new touchscreen, 360 degrees camera and wireless CarPlay. Yes Lexus Canada has not officiallly published the info on the 2024 MY yet, but the updates on the status of my order given to me since January has been accurate so far, I was given the new build choices because I need to know in order to officially complete and proceed with the build of the order.
Could be done using an ebay/amazon 360 camera kit that uses four cameras but you'd be stripping the dash, door cards, drilling holes in the mirrors and bootlid, running chineseum wires through the front and rear bulkheads and tapping into the Lexus screen.
I did think about it but it'd be hell to do.

I suspect that because my order is bespoke, which I was told they give lower priority in scheduling production, plus the fact that I changed one of my build option a month after my initial order, which I was told could delay my order, have pushed my build beyond the cut-off point of MY23, so I was informed that mine will be a 2024.
