Lexus IS 250 Regular Radio VS Mark Levinson for DVD

I need to know is it possible that i may just swap radio with out having to do any mods. I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this im in the process of buying a is 350 Mark Levinson CD player vs the Regular Radio but dont know if all the plugs would work or if there in the car already.

WHAT I WANNA DO IS JUST PLUG AND PLAY! PLEASE HELP BEFORE I PURCHASE..

I'm pretty sure that you will not be able to just swap them out like that. I imagine there are different wiring schemes coming out of the two different units.

The standard Pioneer, for instance, does not have a center channel output. There is a very lengthy thread on this somewhere from earlier in the 2IS' days. I'm sure it has a much more definitive answer in it already.

I'm assuming you have the navigation system already, since you'll need the screen for the DVD?

The speakers are also different, right? Levinson has more and better ones I think.

Even if it was plug and play (doubtful?) to swap out the receiver, seems like you'd still be missing a lot of the benefit.

If you are only interested in the DVD play back with the ML then yes it is a PnP to factory nav non ML car. I have been looking for a ML DVD changer where did you find this?

Looking at those pics, it seems that there are a couple extra plugs on the ML unit.

You ll need the ML harness and the AUX harness...........Im selling my ML unit with the harness and the AUX harness.....BTW i can make the ML harness if you need one......and the AUX port harness.....
