Should be a pretty straight forward fit right?

Im no wheel expert, but based on that +25 offset for your front wheels your going to have to roll your fenders and maybe relocate the fender tab.

Just an educated guess since Ive been stalking this thread for a bit and trying to learn a thing or two

Thanks, would you happen to know if another offset would work in the front? I'm terrible with this offset stuff right now. Wish I could understand it better. The wheels come in a few offsets, the shop recommended +25, so now im rethinking.
I believe the wheel comes in all the following:

+35
+48

Im thinking the +35 should be good?

I dont want to answer this because I might be wrong so Ill wait for Projectdna or another wheel guru to respond.

For your reference: I previously had a +32 offset up front on my Vossens and I used to rub at first when making medium to sharp turns. After a while I only rubbed when making sharp turns. I am lowered on Megan EZs btw

First

Why 17's? They are going to look tiny on your car.

Second

Every single choice you posted will work with very minimal work. Infact the only one that you MIGHT need to roll your fenders in the front are the 8+25.. again I would look at a different set of wheels, unless these are costing you $200 its not worth it.

The price was very fair and I actually dont mind the look of my stock 17's The car is low enough that 17" works well. 18 would be sweet, but in the long run, im not looking at burning through 18" rubbers all the time. Anything bigger than 18 would just be too aggressive for me.

We'll see what you guys think when it comes time to put them on in a few months.

Ya you might need to do a slight roll to e safe up front. But you should be about right with that 17" setup

Okay, I'm about to buy a set of Motegi MR125 wheels in satin black for my '06 IS350 and have a quick question about the rear offset. The fronts will be 18x8 and +45 (factory) but the rears will be 18x9 and +35. Factory rears are 18x8.5 and I am curious as to whether the 9s will push the rear wheels out slightly or not. I am lowered on F Sport springs and love the look but the sidewall of the rear tires is flush with the lower part of the fenders but is inset by about an inch at the top. I'm sure these will "fit" properly, but hope that they will be pushed out slightly at the top?

Hey man no problem its your car and dont worry about what others think. I am just tyring to share my experience, 18's (I am on) already almost look too small, IMO 17's are for the snow, that's the only time this car should be running that size, especially dropped.

You will be fine however you rear wheels will be considerably flusher than your fronts.

you'll need to provide offset information, but assuming you're going with low-offset wheels, you'll need fender modifications if you're going to stretch tires over those wheels.

on an unrelated note, running 18's in the front and 19's in the rear will look awkward - especially if you're stretching tires. retarded also comes to mind, but i guess if you're into that then by all means have at it.

2006 IS 250 RWD
stock height

front 18x9 ET35 with 235/40/18
rear 18x10 ET45 with 265/35/18

I want to avoid any fender / bumper tab mods if possible.
Will those fit without rubbing?
Thanks

I'm not a pro like ProjectDNA, but trying to help wherever I can.

Any suspension mods? Depending on how low you are, the tire sizes and rear offset "may" be a problem.

But if you're stock, both offset and tires are fine - rear may be slightly aggressive +36 (I ran a +40 19" and it was fine), and your rear tires are slightly shorter than stock (255/40/18).

Again, not as awesome as ProjectDNA, but trying to help with quick answers.

Offsets are fine at +35/+45. Usually rubbing begins to appear with 19" +35 wheels (with a wheel diameter of 482.6mm as compared to your 457.2mm (a ~25mm difference), as the plastic fender liners will touch on 40 degree turns.

Tires "may" be problematic:

But since the general adage is to avoid having more than a 5% diameter difference, both tires would be just fine with that set up at stock height.
