Question Toyota Techstream app

Hi guys, I've bought a 2 day subscription to Techstream app and I'm being asked for a new application key to register my subscription, but I can't find this key anywhere (Neither on their website when I log in, nor in their confirmation mail when I did the membership).

Does anyone know how I can get the new key to use toyota techstream?

Log in to TIS in your web browser. Open your Techstream app. When it asks you to register, hit the request new key button. A new page on TIS will pop up and ask for some details about you and your laptop (nothing difficult). Fill in the form and hit generate key. Copy and paste the key into the box on Techstream and you're good to go.

I bought the cable w/software off amazon and it works perfectly, But boot leg software is frowned upon on the forums though, so not advertising it

A bit more than frowned upon. There are specific agreements with Lexus that prohibit the discussion of pirate software. Don't find out the hard way.

Another question I had about Toyota Techstream, is there anyway for me to find my ECU number through the app?

I need to know what my ECU number is for Loi to see if he can tune my GCC spec ISF.

I am guessing it is similar number a long the lines of 89661-XXXXX.

I don't want to take out my ECU to find this number and I was told I should be able to view this on Toyota Techstream.

So you mean the part number or the software version? The software version is easy to find, just run an ECM health check. The serial number is also displayed. Not sure about the part number though.

Finding the ECU part number is easy. You can see the number through the opening as pictured.

A google search after that should tell you the ecu ID number.
