No dashboard light/ push start ISF 2012
Hi all,
I have bought a wrecked 2012 ISF and the front end has severe damage, I will be re-building the car and hope it goes as planned.
The problem is when I plugged new battery, all lights( headlights, dome light, door ajar light, hazard lights) all of them works but the push start button has no light nor it goes into ACC mode, the security light doesn't blink and the locksmith was not able to program the key.
I have tested all fuses including the the long fuse bar near battery and nothing is melted, all of them checks out.
the car is wrecked from front end but no damage to engine, the brace is pushed to side , the rear is also damaged but can be repaired easy.
Any one had this power issue to dash/ push start? any collision fuse which cuts power off upon impact?
No airbags have been deployed in the car.
Thanks.

This scenario has been discussed a couple of times here by owners who have had their batteries run down, or replaced their batteries. Lexus has an extensive troubleshooting tree for solving this problem, and it's not simple at all. There are multiple ECUs involved in the decision making process for starting, and you may need to replace some or all of them. Do you have the original key? That's where it all starts. If you do not have the original key, you might have to remove all the existing keys from the ECM and start fresh.

I have read other users post with IS250 where one module was bad.
I will try to swap the ECU in glove box or do you know any specific which controls the dash?
Thanks
Your market is different than North American cars. I don't have access to the documentation for your market, so I could only make educated guesses and you might spend a lot of time chasing your tail instead of fixing the problem(s). If you have no keys, you'll need to remove all the keys from the ECM and register a new master key to get started, but there may be other problems - certification ECU, steering lock ECU and power control ECU can all be sources of problems in the North American models. Sorry I can't be more specific but GC cars can be very different.
Thanks Lobux for the help, the car is imported from USA.
Just to update the thread incase anyone has the same issue, the rear end of the car was wrecked which also bent the ECU ( Smart Key) which controls the ignition/ push button start
I have replaced this from junk yard and the lock smith programmed the key and it roars!!
