Parasitic Battery Drain..."Dome"
I have a minor parasitic drain on the battery...on rare occasions if I go out of town for 5 days or more it will drain down to being unable to start the car.
I tested it in-line with an Ammeter and found it was drawing almost 250mA of current while in key-off, which seems to be the problem (I understand max should be about 50mA to keep essential items working such as alarm, clock, etc). OK, so I started to play fuse-and-relay roulette and alas pulling the 10A "DOME" fuse took 200mA+ load off of it.
I'm not sure what to do from here. The dome light isn't shorted to a "Stay on" position for sure. I'm not sure if there are other items on this fuse....(I don't have a wiring diagram). Is it possible the dome light is shorted and drawing current without being on?
Any guidance would be appreciated. Thank you
Jeff

I found the list, pretty exhaustive. Interior Light, vanity lights, electric moon roof systems, cruise control system, open door warning light, personal lights, trunk room light, door courtesy lights, footlights, ignition switch light, clock, ABS system, power antenna.
So I guess I will just start trying to unplug things one at a time to see if I can locate the draw. I have already done what I can to make sure the low-hanging fruit isn't there (truck light does go off). I'm not sure how to "unplug the ABS and Cruise Control.
