Thanks! I've emailed Figs to get some guidance and really appreciate the feedback here and I misunderstood your response. I thought you wanted the ISF to be stiffer, but sounds like you were referring to your IS350.

Does anyone here have a pair of swift springs16k (or close for BC coils) that they're looking to get rid of?

Where in WA are you? I have some Ohlins springs in 16K and 14K, they are the common coilover size 65mm x 200mm.

My IS F is on BC DS + Swift 18/14 and rides smoother (dampening) at near stiffest setting than my IS350. 15clicks (about half) softness was super cush and comfortable but I prefer it to be stiffer.
Both cars are set about 2 finger gap all around.

Very happy with both, mostly just street and spirited corners with occasional canyons
So are you saying the DS ride softer than the regular BR from coilovers? I am looking to get one of them with the Swift Springs likely. However, also considering the entry level model from RR Racing using Silvers Shocks. I have had 3 sets of BCs though over the years and been happy with them all so worried about switching. Timing will have something to do with it though if the right spring rates are too far out.

How are you liking the BC DS + Swift springs on your ISF? I need new shocks, and I am looking at the BCs and also RR Racing's R&T R2 set. Price is very comparable between the both.

They ride softer and more comfortable than the BR and other ISF/RCF/GSF owners have ridden/drove my car and like them too, The BRs are generally pretty smooth but can get harsh, bouncy at times, the DS seem to be more soft/smooth bouncy. I'm about 10 clicks from the top. I tried 15 clicks from the top and it basically was really smooth and not bouncy but since I do like to the hit the corners I stiffened up the clicks a bit. Might try to go even stiffer this weekend as last weekend I hit the canyons and my street/cruising setting was a bit softer than I liked.

Not sure if it helps but some vid of the canyon "bounce" for reference

Glad to hear your opinion of them riding softer than the BR but better overall. I had 14/12 BRs but they are shot and I am upgrading to the 18/14 DS that you have now. Ordered about 4 weeks ago so hopefully they will be ready soon.

I hope you enjoy them! I was really impressed with mine, I was expecting a harsher ride with the stiffer springs but it was way more compliant than I expected.

Again thinking about suspension because the front wheel gap drives me crazy on stock 08 suspension. Those of you on coilovers, what tire/wheel size are you running and did how much did you have to modify? I'm currently on 18x10 wheels with 275/35/18 tires. This works on stock suspension without any modifications, but I do rub in the rear on big dips in the road or small dips if i have people sitting in the back (I barely have people in the back so I'm fine with this). Ideally, I would like to get rid of the front wheel gap and keep the rear basically how it is. Would changing to 265 tires help enough to be worth it (buying new tires soon anyway)? Is fender rolling going to be a must for going lower in the front? What about removing wheel well liners? Any info would be appreciated, I was most likely looking at the Figs BC ER series

You could buy RR Racing R3 (or whatever brand you want) coilovers and adjust the height to your heart content. You could lower the front and keep the back stock height all while firming up the car.

You didn't say what offsets you're running on those wheels. You should be doing okay with a +35 - + 40. We typically stick with 9.5" rim with +35os.

Have a look at our R3 Road and Track coilovers that we designed for the ISF. We designed the Ultra Digressive valving using Penske research and technology. This valving allows for a wide range of dampening with each click. It also means you will have good low speed bump compliance and responsive high speed cornering. Some of these coilovers (Like the ones you mentioned) still retain a divorced spring setup and are not a true coilover. Check out our reviews on the product page and see what people are saying on Social Media.

Retain a divorced spring setup? When did that happen to the IS F? I'd love to see your pictures of this setup.

My wheels are +40 offset. I'd ideally like to modify as little as possible and keep the car clean and daily driveable, as I don't want to go too far in the direction of track focused suspension

It was an obvious mistake, stop it. I'm breezing through ISF, RCF, IS500, 2IS, 3IS, 4IS all day, every day. It happens.
