Default swift/Tein springs specific for 2011 (or 12-14) MY?

Hello all, I'd like to drop the front of my 2011 ISF on springs and leave the rear stock height. I've searched on here and the Swifts seem to be the favorites - Tein H-Techs sound good too, especially if comfort is the main goal. So it looks like swifts come in 2 models, 2008-2011, and 2012-2014, due to the revised coil size for 2012-2014. And we know that the 2008-2010 ISF suspension was the stiffest, with big changes made to the stock suspension in 2011 (more comfort) with additional tweaks in the following years. Most of the reviews of the Swifts on this forum appear to be from 2008-2010 cars (sometimes hard to tell the year, though, if wheels have been changed, and no year info in the poster's sig...), and the consensus is that the Swifts "ride just like stock". Well, I bought a 2011 for the revised (more comfortable) suspension, so I would not want a Swift spring that made my 2011 ride "just like" a stock 2008-2010. And since Swifts are highly favored, I've not found any posts reviewing Teins on a 2011.

Those of you with a 2011-2014 (preferably a 2011) dropped on Swifts or Tein H-tech's: what are your impressions of the ride vs. stock (please indicate your model year). So you know what I'm after: I won't be tracking the car - just want to close the front fender gap a bit, and while performance is important, I am willing to give up a bit of ultimate performance for a bit more everyday comfort. My 2011 rides just fine - a little softer would be okay, but I DONT want it to be any stiffer. Maybe I'm making this into a bigger issue than I should - I would just hate to put springs on the front to get the drop right only to stiffen up the ride...

Oh, and yes, I've read about the KW V3's. I think that would be a great solution, but they are not in the budget right now.

I too have a 2011 and I ran the swifts (front only) for about 10K miles before switching to BC coilovers (for the height adjustment ability). The swifts felt very close to stock ride for me, and the BCs ride very close to stock too (slightly stiffer than swifts).

If your question is will the Swifts'or Tein's make the car ride better - nope.

Agreed^^^ the swifts did not improve the ride on my 2010, it was more of a aesthetic mod for me until I can jump into coilovers

Okay thanks, I can live with not improving the comfort of the ride, but I didn't want to make it more harsh than the stock '11 suspension.

I have a '12 F and have swift springs all the way around. I love the look after they settled, but let's not kid ourselves here...the ride is noticeably stiffer/bouncier. The stock comfort was amazing....felt like a Caddy. Far from that now to be honest. But it feels like a sports car should feel now really. And it doesn't bother me as I don't daily the car. If i did, I'd need another solution.
I too got the swifts because they claimed "stock ride comfort" with the front gap removed. That is NOT the case...just don't want anyone falling for the advertisement like I did. But with all of that said, I'd buy them again....love the look, love the performance/handling, and like the feel (since it isn't my daily and it IS a sports car).
Hope this helps!

Can you post a few pics of your car with the springs? I like the rear height stock in our car, but want to lose the front gap. However, I am not a fan of putting front springs only on the car and do not want to go coil overs at this time.

The rear drop is only .06" so it's not very aggressive and would make more sense to put both front & rear swifts on IMO so the spring rates match each other as a set, just something to think about.

Exactly. I can't really see a difference visually on the rears.

When I was in an F with Swift Springs I felt the difference. It was stiffer but it felt more refined..

Contact us for a quote for the Swift or Tein.
