Yes. Same code. Whenever you CEL comes on you can't go into 1st gear. (stupid feature). Originally I bought a new sensor from rockauto and it didn't fit correctly. The sensor was too big for the hole. So I took the oring off of the one I purchased and put it on the old sensor after I cleaned it.

Ahhhhh.... that explains why my car is slow when the CEL is on.

Quick update boys: after cleaning MAF I’ve done just over 100 miles and code didn’t come back on. When i cleated the code last time, it came back on after 30miles. Maybe cleaning the MAF did the trick? I now left the car at the garage for the underseal so won’t use it for about a week or so.
Had another thought: since both banks were running lean, I doubt it was both o2 sensors or injectors. I’d lean towards faulty MAF or something wrong with a fuel pump... will see

Maybe fixing the air leak after the MAF when you cleaned it was what actually fixed it. If the MAF were providing bad data, the ECM would set MAF codes.

You removed the MAF to clean it, right? When you installed it again, you made sure it was properly tightened, right? So if it was leaking before (one of the check items on the troubleshooting checklist from Lexus), and it is not leaking now because you tightened it properly, the problem is solved, right?

I had those codes recently on my 2018 Toyota Camry se, it was my pcv hose that had a small leak which cause my afr to run lean but that fixed the problem & the codes haven’t came back up.
