To follow up, I fixed the issue. Luckily I only cross threaded maybe 1/8”-1/4” so I drilled out the damaged section. I may have lost the first few threads but the female threaded section is pretty deep with I think maybe 2” of thread. I thought about chasing the thread but worried that I may chase it crooked.
To prevent cross threading the second time around I used ratchet straps on the control arms to align the holes in place so I could focus on properly tightening the bolt.
