Default Name that offset

Owner doesnt know and Im looking to go with a square setup. These are 20" rims but I cant identify the offset. Will they work on my F? What tire size would be recommended to avoid rubbing? He's asking $450 for the set...

The offset looks to be +40. Honestly, if they're 20x8.5 square, I'd pass. That's not enough width for all four corners, unless this is going to be like a winter set up. My bet- heavy cast wheels that will show their weight at every turn, corner, and fun sweeping lane you'd like to try and acceleration but can't go quite as fast. My advice- wait for a better set of wheels, something that looks good and moderately lightweight for the car.

Thanks for all the inputs. Im also considering a new set of PIAA Super Rozza for $1k. 19x9.5 J42 square. 24.8 pounds each, looks like the "super black chrome" finish but Ive not reached out to the seller yet so guessing based on pics. My car is Obsidian so SBC should be a good match. I like the look, opinions on these compared to stock? Am I getting too wide for a square set up? Heres a generic link....

If you're solely looking for a square set up, 9.5 +42 widths should do the job nicely. What tire size(s) were you planning to get for these?I have a set of wheels with 9.5 +40 all around for track, and they fit very well with my tire set up and clears the BBK with room to spare. I definitely like the idea of a lip over a step lip for this car, and it looks like they might a nice fit on the car with the color choice you're going with. Make sure to get hubcentric rings for your wheels as well. I'm not entirely sure what PIAA uses as its bore, but the rings will be necessary for sure.

Im open to tire suggestions. Its a daily with a 40 mile highway round trip every day, rain or shine. It wont be tracked or see even spirited driving beyond keeping the cats clean. Id like to rotate. I like rings and would like a set up as wide as possible without rubbing obviously. Prefer a flat sidewall. Currently running Continental Extreme Contact on stock rims, which I really like for their wet/dry performance and quiet operation but sadly cant rotate with my current setup. What ring and tire size is suggested to achieve my goals?

Stop to pick these up and he only has a pair of 40 offset and a pair of 20 offset, came down to $700. Can I make these work in a square setup?

if all four were +40, yes.

but a set consisting of 19x9.5 +40 (pair) and 19x9.5 +20 (pair)?
that +20 pair will sit very far out from the fenders and will require fender work and staggered tire sizes to fit.

i would move on.

Thanks. Rims were stamped 114.3 but measured 120, go figure. So I had to pass on what I considered a screamin deal on rims I really liked. 😔

Im now going brand new, craigslist and offer up is pathetic in my area. $200 each for Niche Gunmetal Intake M-159, 19 9.5 et35 square. Ill have a 8.28mm spacer on hand for the rears if 35 isnt working for me. Heavy cheap rims werent my dream but I do think it will be an aesthetic improvement and allow for a square setup which was my ultimate goal. According to discount tire 255 all around should fit nicely.
