Does anyone have pictures or video of what the OEM iPod integration looks like on 2011+ models? Searched YouTube and didn't see anything nor did any of the reviews I could find show anything.

Just wondering if you control it through the car, what song/artist/album info it shows, how it functions, what it looks like etc.

 

2011+ should have Bluetooth and in the armrest you can plug your iphone into the USB port. you can control it with the steering wheel controls

 

Here are a few photos inside 2011 ISF. It also has bluetooth connectivity but connecting via USB also charges the device. I typically use my iPhone over USB. Hope this helps. Let me know if you want any other specific photos

 

Perfect! Thanks so much for the pictures, that is exactly what I was looking for. So I guess no album artwork display then? Bummer, but I was mostly expecting it. At least the track/artist/album being shown is nice. I wasn't even sure if that was the case or not so I'm glad for confirmation on that.

 

We have the .5 meter ("14) cable and the iPod lives in the bottom of the console.
Leave it turned on and as PJSnow mentioned, it will stay charged.
