Default limp mode?

Sitting in line for some fast food last night, i had my foot on the brake for several minutes straight. Felt a click through my shoe and noticed my traction control light lit up, also had parking brake light and check engine light appear. I immediately put my car in park and aver several more minutes the lights warning lights turned off. Any idea as to what could have caused it. Car drove perfectly fine on the way home. This is my second F and the first time i have ever had these lights come on.

Thanks

Any recent work/mods on the car? It can be anything without reading the check engine codes. I had traction control and check engine lights came on a few weeks ago, right before I planned to take it in for the airbag recall, and Longo Lexus diagnosed and replaced the mass air flow sensor.

I didn't get charged. A long time friend service manager went out of his way to get it done under a one-time goodwill without me asking for it. Gotta love a happy ending story at a dealer. lol

Best of luck!

Ive had this happen as well. Was dropping a girl off at home and had the car in manual and in sport mode, but was holding the brake down while we talked for a min. All the CEL's came on and when I put the car in park, turned it off, turned it back on everything was fine.

Had this happen twice in the last year

I was sitting in idle last week and my "low oil level" came on and turned off (no incline).

i thought that was pretty cool. (Oil level was spot on the stick when I checked after shutting down).

You should check oil level when engine is cold as well. If you checked it after shutting down, I hope you waited at least 5 to 10 minutes. I had that same "low oil level" light come on more often than I wanted. It turned out, the mechanic was only putting in 9 quarts. He said the dipstick read full and would call it a day. I made him correct this issue and I've never had this light come back on throughout my interval.

I checked it the next morning as well when it had cooled off (still half way up between the dots).

I was was surprised because I did my own OC and put in a little less than 10qts. Oh well, hasn't come back since

I'm thinking that you may have a faulty fuse and not an engine issue.
