Check VCS, PCS, Brake, ABS light. No check engine light.
Hello everybody,
My VSC, PCS, ABS, Brake lights randomly pop up when I'm driving. Doesn't pop up all the time but when it does, my car still runs perfectly fine. They disappear when you turn off the engine and turn it back on again. They'll appear again at random times.
I have read that most people get VSC and check engine lights come on, causing everything to power off and totaling the engine that could cost up to $8000 to replace at the dealership. However, in my case I don't get the check engine light.
Does anyone else on these forums own an IS250 and gets the VSC, PCS, ABS, and Brake lights? Is it something to worry about? And have any of you found solutions to fix the problem?
Thanks guys!

That’s what happened to me last week. Except car wouldn’t crank. My fuel pressure sensor went out which was messing up my Engine Control Module. By the way, ECM is covered under the extended warranty for the class action. A lot of people are having the same issues with their sensors after the recalls. I would try checking that out.

I don't get the check engine light. I only get the VSC, PCS, Brake, and ABS lights. You had these as well?

i did as well as my P/S light. I would sit in the car and press the brake pedal and watch the light go from Amber to Green and push the start button and nothing would happen. It would go into accessory mode and the dash would be lit up like a Christmas tree. Other people have their cars go into limp mode as well. Could be what’s happening to you or if you’re on the verge of it.
Also, the guys at Lexus told me once the Check VSC light comes on it disables the OBD ii port. I haven’t had a chance to verify that yet though.
