Just thought I would share my stable of horses. Got my first V8 back in 1984 ('74 Challenger), added the '98 GS400 in '07 and the '12 ISF came along in 2014. All totalled there's probably over 1000 horses pounding the driveway.
What I find really amazing is the progression of power over the years. In it's day my small block equipped Challenger was considered a pretty hot setup. Today there are plenty of six-bangers that will give it a good run. Both the F and the GS400 will also give it a beating. The other difference is that I can drive either Lexus flat out all day long if I wanted to. The old muscle car on the other hand is always a bit of an anxious drive. The thing I love the most about the Challenger is its over-cammed lumpty lump idle. Never get tired of that sound. The GS is an incredibly nice grand tourer and the F, well we all know what the F is about...
Nice collection I'm sorry to hear that they were all totalled.
jk I feel bad dailying my RC-F even though I average 12k miles per year, hopefully I have a non-V8 again to rack miles on later but in your scenario I wouldn't mind a GS400 just to keep miles off the IS-F.

The GS is my daily driver still going strong with over 430Kkm. The F gets about 10Kkm/year and the Challenger has got about 5K total over the past 20 years or so. It has sat dormant for about five years. Just pulled it out about a month ago. Had to rebuild all the carbs (it's a six pack set-up) as they were leaking pretty badly.
Great being around others who love V8s. I have a 2015 C63 507, 2011 IS-F, 2015 GX 460. When I brought home the GX 460, my neighbor asked me if it was a hybrid. I paused for a second wondering if he was joking or not....he wasn't. So I just said "um, no. Kind of the anti-hybrid."
Nothing against hybrids or electric cars, but I love V8s and think it's sad the NA V8 is a dying breed.

Interesting, when I was buying the ISF, I was actually considering getting the 450h first. I suspect if I had been able to get the deal I wanted on the hybrid I would not be in this discussion group...
