Default Million dollar question: Passenger side window programming

Hi fellow isfs', if that sounds right... anyways. Beginning of the month I got my isf and today had it delivered.... and still collecting the pieces of my brains around the house from such a mind blowing experience! Wow!! This car is AMA (wait for it) ZING!! Amazing!! I am really proud to be a part of you guys. And my impatience was getting so insane I was scrolling through in the search of the things I wanna do with it... went thro the forums of the wheels and navy wires unlock feature, and apexi throttle controller, and walds rep options, and blown subwoofer and how to glue it, and rrracing supercharger and joe-z intake anyways... u can't surprise me now)) I know it all... but I am sad because my front passenger windows won't work/: well it works from the side of the passenger but than it gets locked and goes down..... programming with holding a key didn't do nothing so I came accross a thread about taking the door apart and playing with the motor.... but it seems to be for older gen lexus.... and the million dollar question of the day is: does it work with my 2010 lexus isf????

Welcome and congrats!

Not sure what the problem is? The passenger window will not roll down when you use the driver's control? Or none of the windows roll down?

i think you just need to reprogram them. Instructions here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...isconnect.html

Welcome

on your passenger window, try depressing the switch all the way down for 10 sec, then roll the windows back up while holding the switch all the way up for 10 sec.
that should restore driver command.

Yea that's how all the cars are. I did press the button down. But when I would do the top one it would just roll down few inches. Like it would pinch something....

I swear I didn't want to post here on my first day.... /: and researched as much as possible prior to doing that....

I think it calls window pinch protection program. And I can't seem to find how to recalibrate... it's a clean tittle but comes with little fender bender which insurance covered without salvaging the vehicle. Guy said front fender and headlight and bumper were fixed at the dealer. I found few posts how to do it on first gen cars like RX and IS. but didn't want to take panel off with all the smart functions that are in our cars.

Well the more I drive the more issues I notice with my car.... my heated seats controls are missing at all... cruise control doesn't work. Disp and others right side buttons in sterling wheel don't work.... my screen with lights looks like this...
Is this 2010 Lexus ISF trim?

Assuming you did enough research that you do in fact have an F and not an f-sport... it looks like you got one that was stripped and swapped, those are ISx50 parts. You mention things on the column and wheel don't work either, post a pic of your steering wheel - id bet its not OEM F either.

Actually it is an ISF wheel. with the little blue bottom part, but with an F missing. I am also missing an F sticker on my smart remote... so yea, I assume it was stripped.... at least panels(

Damn! Someone stripped out your interior!

You sure the car wasn't stolen and recovered before you bought it?

Rest of the car has blue stitching. Only plastic parts.
Clean title/: checked car fax, said small fender bender.

This car has red flags all over. You better show us your engine bay and diff while you're at it. I really hope they didn't leave you with a pre-2010 diff.

I remember a few weeks ago there was a salvage isf or marked as a total loss on ebay. It was a 2010 isf in dark grey. 37 k miles. The thread in club lexus was 'found this today (no reserve auction...). The interior was rebuilt with is250/350 panels, the f badges removed from the steering wheel. The outside has a decal or fake looking f sign. Did you pick it up on ebay? Look up that thread in this forum. Hope you have no unpleasant surprises.

I remember someone on this forum posting about swapping diffs to the old one and keeping the newer model one for his other F.... ****ty thing to do regardless, that really sucks Id start going through the rest of the car really well before too much time passes. I doubt the kind of person who sells a stripped out car to someone else without mentioning it is the type to help you out or take it back but I would be trying that too.

That was my thread. So if you are looking, look for threads by Helo58. The auction was a "no reserve" auction and at the time I made the post, the bids were around $6000 bucks. I added it to my watch list but then after all of the forum members noticed all of the "missing details" such as console plastics, emblems, coupled with the total loss history I stopped following it. I got an email saying it the winning bid was somewhere in the mid 20s if I remember correctly.

OP, good luck with the car. If you get it sorted, you will have a great time. You may want to look into the Vehicle Purchase Protection offered by ebay if you feel that the car was misrepresented and you completed the transaction through ebay. Click the link on the page to get more info about it.

Here is a link to the original ebay auction. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2010-Lexus-IS-F-/152547677794?_trksid=p2047675.l2557&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&nma=true&si=kKRRkShZq5lvxQuhXN8JUNb0K4E%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc
