Am I crazy?
So over the past couple weeks I came to the conclusion that I wasn't going to find a better daily driver than my isf for around 40k or less. My current 2008 has just under 150k and although it drives great it's starting to show it's age a bit. So i decided why not look for a 2011+ with lower miles to swap all my parts over too. Well over the weekend I found a 2012 SFP with red interior for 43k with only 33k. miles at a local Lexus dealer. The fact that it was local was wild to me because there aren't many options for sale in New England. I went to go check it out today without any intentions of buying it but it was just too perfect to pass up. So my question to you guys is am I crazy or just crazy about my ISF lol?

You aren't crazy by any means, lol. You'll actually enjoy the upgrades the '12 offers over the 08 and will feel like a big upgrade to you Imo!
Plan to sell your car privately or trade her in?
How much is the dealer asking?
And congrats in advance on the best color combo (white and red)....I'm a bit biased though!!!

Your not crazy at all. These cars are just addicting. After owning German performance cars there is nothing like owning an reliable Japanese beast. I went to look at a 2012 NGP her in MN, one owner, but it was driven in winters and had rust. To say the least it was not for me. A week later it was sold.

That was my first choice but with a baby on the way my wife wouldn't be too pleased with me. Plus I want to supercharge my F anyway and my 08 had less than idea compression around 180-185 per cylinder. I'm surprised I was able to run an 11.7 with compression that low.

Congrats on the new car! I don't think it's crazy at all as you know. Even though your high mileage car is holding up really well I've been hoping you would do this for a while. I think we should gut the 08' and make a drift car out of it now. It can double as a baby hauler....no carpets or door panels to spit up on is so stress free.
