I was weary of putting 50 on my windshield but it is really a minor difference. It helps with oncoming traffic headlight glare which IMO is worse than a slight drop in usable light.
Haven't got pulled over yet but recently a cop rode next to me exactly at speed and stared me down. Rolled windows down and he moved on. lol. lucky so far.
I like it nice and dark inside. My current vehicle's tint is light all the way around. This is my remedy. The ones in the back windows stay on all the time. The ones in the front windows come off at night. The size of the window works well for holding these tightly in place
My car came with tint already applied on all of the windows (minus the windshield for obvious reasons). Wish I knew the percentage or what kind it is because I want it on all my cars. Its reflective but not tacky like a mirror, and from the inside, it barely seems tinted cause you can see perfectly fine at night. It keeps the summer sun/heat out of the car which has been nice.
