Default Inconsistent lack of power problem with out a code error

2011 ISF 73k miles

Directly after an oil change my car would act as if it was taking off in 3rd gear, super bogged down. Then all of a sudden it would perform normally, for about 80 miles. The car will go back and forth, performing like this every 50-100 miles . I've taken it the the dealership a few times and with out it throwing a engine code, they can't do much. They plugged in their laptop and looked at all the readings, everything besides a low voltage reading from a knock sensor.

Has anyone experienced this?

How's it run in manual mode? Did you try resetting the ECU?

Edit: is the oil overfilled?

I had same issue right after oil change. I also noticed that the growl above 3500 RPM would sound different too. Turned out that the dealer left the very bottom portion of the airbox open when they checked my filter.

It is very difficult to see..you might have to feel the bottom of the box. I opened it up, removed the filter completetly and carefully made sure the bottom latched on correctly....no problem since.

The dealership did reset the ECU. Oil is with in the lower and upper parameters and didn't clean the air filter.

If you confirmed the box is closed, I would clean the MAF. My dealer did not find the airbox issue - I did.

That looks/sounds just like mine did. The secondary flap sound is not there..

Also - your shift lights are not functioning? (EDIT - looks like you might be in auto mode)

Your dealer maybe overfilling the oil. When the ISF runs high oil level it literally belches oil out the crankcase PCV.

BTW my ISF doesn't have mufflers. Shift lights work when she's running right.

Check your air box and clean the maf.

I had the exact same symptom when my air box was not clipped in on the bottom side. At the same time, i cleaned my maf.
