Hopefully just a shifter/selector issue assuming it acts normal once in motion, buddy of mine had his 300c srt unable to move out of park as you described and thought the transmission was shot, luckily it was just the selector and $300 later it was back on the road.

Doubt it's the transmission if its driving fine. Might just be a brake switch, one way to find out is to go step on your brakes to see if your brake lights come on. If not then its yhe switch. Hopefully that helps you.

i am gonna saying i am leaning towards being something stupid like that, the F transmission shifts 100% normal so i am positive is not the transmission

107k is low miles, lot of F over 150k miles and still running like a champ.

PartNumber: 84340-30110

Brake light switch is located above the brake pedal. Just follow the pedal upwards and you should be able to see the switch.

Going with the above posted. I see it happen almost on the daily with all makes and models of vehicles. The light check will not tell you if there is an issue with the shift selection. Once it's dead it will however not let the car start.

just a quick update, so this is gonna sound silly and probably stupid but here we go lol

a few months back i took apart my trunk because i installed my coilovers and disconnected the trunk light, later on i sold my coilovers but never put my trunk together. just last Sunday i installed a different set of kw's v3 on my car and decided to connect the trunk light. well ever since doing that the car hasn't gotten stuck on park.

now i am not sure if that was the cause but so far we are doing good, i will keep you guys updated
