Good news was they found a nice clean valley plate in my engine and all the hoses/tubes and rubber bits look to be in good shape, replacing the radiator to be safe on a 9 year old car but overall it looks good.. got my airbags in before the stop order came out along with Lexus replacing my power steering unit for free under the TSB, looks like ill be keeping my F for quite a while now.

Thats the number for it, I would bet you'll have luck with it assuming your dealership helps you out. My car is well over double the age/mileage limit on the SB and they covered it with no argument at all.

thank you. what's the mileage it was supposed to be done by? i bought my F a year ago, maybe that'll be a bargaining chip for me.
I got the same problem. 104k on my ISF. Definitely the starter. Just purchased a new oem from the dealer for $650. Installed with a friend. Had to drop the cross member/side engine mount/and dipstick. No need to remove transmission or engine. But if you do have headers or stock manifold you have to remove on that side to take out starter.
Hope this helps
