Default heater blowing cold air

sup people, I'm just wondering if any of you guys having your heater blowing cold air. I turned on my heater the other day and its blowing cold air. Could it be the thermostat? it did get hot though after 30 min...

Agreed, if your coolant level is too low it will blow cold. Start with that then go from there

Getting your rpms up above 3k for a bit gets warm air flowing, if for some reason you don't get around to topping up the coolant.

thnx for all the replies. i just did refill my coolant and yes it was low. isn't there's a recall for the valley leaker plate? i had my water pump issue resolved 2 years ago...if not, time to call the dealership, i do have extended warranty anyway...

There is no recall for the valley plate leak. People having to pay for it out of pocket unless its somehow covered under warranty. Some have contacted Lexus who are agreeing to cover up to $500 of the cost.

Your extended warranty should cover it, but yes take it in as soon as you can. Definitely sounds like the valley plate issue. Lexus wanted $1600 to do the repair on my car.
