Default Cold air

My wife's 07 IS250 awd constantly blows cold air even with the heat on and the outside temperature is below freezing. Tried turning the A/C button off and no difference. Occasionally warm air will come out.

Is this a bad thermostat?

Any ideas?

Thanks

JC

Check your coolant level.. common problem is a leaking water pump, causing the coolant level to be low enough to starve coolant circulation to the heater hoses, which happen to be the highest point of the system.
