Are they only offering the headers with installation required from Sikky only at this time? Any idea when they will release pricing w/o installation and dyno?

Yes, this is the only way to get them right now. They want to get a hold of a few more chassis in house to make sure their header tolerances are dialed in - quality control is one their main considerations on these. How soon they go retail will probably depend on how quickly local(ish) customers take advantage. I still can't believe how much power has been unlocked!!

SIKKY posted late yesterday with additional information.

It also shows the new Sikky header actually making less power up to 6300RPM when it starts to pull ahead. This would mean less performance in the area where it's most needed. And how does it rev past the redline?

I was thinking the exact same thing when I looked at the dyno plot. Unless something was off with the dyno chart, that moves the powerband too far to the right for my taste

The curve has NOT been shifted and there is no power loss in the rpm band. Do not try comparing one dyno plot to another. Best representation of the power difference can be seen in the dyno charts posted in the link above. More power through the rpm band esp so in the top end.

^^^^Curious as to what your trap time will be now with these headers??? Any plans to go to the drag strip and test them out?

I am more curious to see this with a true dual 3 inch exhaust / tune. The larger header/exhaust combo should compliment the slightly more aggressive timing from the tune. I know the larger intake/maf also would benefit from this mod.

This motor is capable of over 500 whp easy with stock internals if we had a decent tuning platform and better parts. So far its still just people re-flashing the ecu with a little more aggressive parameters. We have the high compression and the technology. If we could access and adjust cam angles on the intake side of things and tune for some e85 it would really help these bolts on shine.

Great choice on the Primary sizing update Sikky. I didn't want to buy headers until I saw some better quality/sizing options but i think these are what i was looking for!

Its sad, being around Hondas with all the high quality parts and tuning available then coming to this platform and seeing wasted potential. If we ever got into changing camshafts out and actually doing some decent Intake manifolds/TB setups plus all the supporting mods I am sure we could see over 115 WHP per litre...all motor.

I do plan to hit the drag strip again this fall but don't expect to see a huge difference with the modest power gain over the first gen headers. Pending weather conditions hope to at least beat my old time. My average trap speed of my quickest 5 runs is 119.37mph with a fastest of 121.46 and a slowest of the 5 at 117.56mph and with the bump in power I should see maybe a 1mph increase in trap speeds, but we'll see esp since I've added GESI high flow cats to the mix.

To be honest my car with cats doesn't sound much different than without and to me and that's a good thing because the headers/Borla combo is a great for sound and performance. Very little drone and I can drive around in either manual or automatic in comfort.

I prefer the seat of the pants dyno.

Everytime I've modified my Supra before going to a dyno I could pretty much off the bat if the car was running better or not.

Any updates to note on these new headers? From the vendor thread, it sounded like there were a few others getting these installed.

I got an email back from them saying
"Hi Travis,

Thanks for reaching out!

The new ISF headers are currently not available to buy outside of the installation package. The full release of the headers will be late fall or early winter.

If you have any other questions please do not hesitate to reach out!

Best,
Joe
Sikky MFG"

my wallet is ready and patiently waiting lol
