Weekend project : using rattle cans to paint USB ISF bumper
So I had an unfortunate event where someone hit me in the parking lot and took off.
I was going to send the bumper to get resprayed but the guy said they were going to sand the whole thing anyways so I took it to try it and repaint it myself before I sent it out.
I ordered a paint matched aerosol can and clear and primer from Autozone.

The ''orange wrap'' was when I dipped over it for the time being. The other wrap was the chrome blue wrap I was doing that day.

I. Hate. Bodywork.
Give me anything mechanical and i'll work for hours; but I don't do sandpaper and paint.
That being said, looks like you did a hell of a job for a DIY not in a booth.

Well. If you haven't made any bodywork before this . I would say you have a gift. For a dent like this to look like that after a diy job from somebody who have no background in bodywork is almost a miracle. I'm a bodyman myself and my first diy job back in the 90s didn't look like that at all. Good job .
P.s. what type of clearcoat can did you used for your job. 1k or 2k ?

That's pretty impressive from a can!
I'd be terrified to even have a go at painting anything on my car. Made a dogs dinner of the rear badge, and that was only plastidip! Lol.
I'm seriously impressed with the finish you achieved mate. Looks great!
Bet that saved you a few bucks?! What would you expect to pay to repaint a bumper over there?! just a ballpark obviously.
