So H60Driver, you absolutely inspired me and I decided to take a stab at this myself. Hands down one of the coolest personal touches I can think to do to our cars. Well done at being the first (at least that I'm aware of) to do this; at least making a custom one anyway. The only differences for mine were that it was made for an iPod touch and I wrapped it in black suede to try and match the inside of the console as much as possible. Thanks again for the inspiration



Rough-cut (before sanding & finishing) / test fit immediately after it started taking shape. The cutout at the bottom is to help with getting the device out (push down and the top pops up). Inspired by the other link/suggestion H60Driver posted.

Just like H60Driver's this can be slid forward and back so the cup holder is still accessible and usable - I didn't want to lose mine either

This was my solution. $25 shipped, stays cool on the vent, eye level, doesn't block view. I love it.
