I was thinking of maybe a cradle setup on the dash or something. Monster makes good 'line out' cables for it, so you can now have 10GB of music on the road...

 

FM Modulator you can attach to any headphone jack on any player. it sends in stereo to some goffy FM station that you can tune in on your Car deck.
You can also position several cars a few feet appart and have all your friends tune in on that FM station.
My friend has one of these and it is very portable and cool.
