Default aaronqn's SGM 3GS build thread

Been lurking CL for some time, finally decided to make a build thread so I can keep track of everything. Here it goes.

Bought the car as a gift to myself for my bday in October of 2014. First lexus I've owned.
2007 SGM GS350 w/ 82K miles

First day I picked her up:

First thing I did was purchase and installed the VAIS Tech iVic-5d

Bought a iPod 5th gen and jailbroke it to use the bluetooth function. And had to manually calibrate it because the module was made for androids.

Wasn't happy with how it was working. So I sold the iPod and bought a Samsung Galaxy s3. (There were presets for that device.) Worked A LOT better.

I've had modded all my previous cars but and had no intentions to mod this car other than the vais tech module.

Previous cars:

Well a little over year later and out of no where.. I caught the modification bug... and parts started to pile up. Who was I kidding right? Haha

Started off with visors

Then eventually led to these

Then of course these
BC Racing Coilovers which I got a good deal on from a friend with very low miles on em.

TPMS sensors for all four wheels with new rebuild kits so I don't have to take em off my stock wheels and will be able to switch back and forth.

Went with Megan Rear camber arms. Other two parts are for my friends LS430.

Toe arms were out of stock everywhere for about 6 weeks. So I ordered FIGs toe arms. Waiting on some more parts to come in then I will get everything installed all at once.

I plan on riding slammed static for atleast now.

Just found out my passenger side has been resprayed before and they did a **** job at taping so the clear coat is coming off. Will need to repaint my front passenger fender Will do that after I roll my front fenders and lower the car though.

Will update this thread along the way. Thanks for looking!

LOL @ never get a BMW... I'm with you on that brother. Leased a 2015 M4 brand new last year, 4 months later, engine noise. In and out of the stealership for months with no solution to fix it except new engine parts so I parted ways with the headache! Just saying. Nice start though! Congrats and welcome!

+1 on the question... I'm from the Bay Area also... Who did all your suspension work? Still looking to lower my 3gs, and have wheels sitting in my garage with 19x9F and x10R with +20 all around. Also planning to go with BC Coils.
